He emphasized that in recent years, the province has consistently focused on improving the investment environment and developing high-quality human resources. As a result, Bac Ninh has maintained a high growth rate, reaching over 10% in 2025, and has remained among the leading localities nationwide in attracting foreign direct investment. Its system of industrial parks and clusters has been comprehensively planned and is ready to accommodate large-scale projects.

He further noted that the province is currently home to eight UNESCO-recognized heritage elements, including: Quan Ho folk songs; Ca Tru singing; the Worship of the Mother Goddesses of the Three Realms; Then practices of the Tay, Nung and Thai ethnic groups in Vietnam; the Huu Chap tug-of-war ritual and game; the Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac complex; the woodblocks of Buddhist scriptures at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda; and Dong Ho folk painting. These serve as an important foundation for the province to further promote cultural and tourism activities, expand international cooperation, and closely link development with the preservation and promotion of cultural and historical values.

In the coming time, Standing Vice Chairman Mai Son hoped that the Sri Lankan Ambassador and the Vietnam–Sri Lanka Friendship Association will serve as a bridge to introduce Sri Lankan investors to explore opportunities, cooperate, and develop together with enterprises in the province in such fields as electronics, software, semiconductors, human resource training, science and technology, energy transition, digital transformation, garment and textiles, agriculture, and agro-processing.

He also called for support in helping local enterprises gain better access to the Sri Lankan market, strengthen business connections, promote trade and supply–demand linkages, and build supply chains with Sri Lankan partners.

With Buddhism as a common foundation, Standing Vice Chairman Mai Son suggested that the Sri Lankan Ambassador and the Vietnam-Sri Lanka Friendship Association support strengthening cultural and religious exchanges between Bac Ninh province and its partners and localities in Sri Lanka; connecting tourist tours for Sri Lankan delegations and people-to-people exchanges between the two sides.
