2024 Family Day of Bac Ninh province takes place
(BNP) - On June 28, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the 2024 Family Day of Bac Ninh province.
Deputy Chief of the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee Ngo Van Luyen awards Certificates of merit to typical family clubs.
Participants at the program were leaders of the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; the Provincial Women’s Union, and typical cultural clubs and families in the province.
In recent years, Bac Ninh province has issued many programs and plans to implement the Central Directives, Resolutions and Decisions on family building in the new situation, especially Resolution No. 71-NQ/TU on “Building and developing the culture and people of Bac Ninh until 2030 to meet the requirements of sustainable development”.
Every year, on the occasion of International Day of Happiness (March 20), Vietnam Family Day (June 28), and International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (November 25), all levels and sectors in the province organize many diverse activities to build happy, prosperous, progressive and happy families. As a result, they create a change in the awareness and actions of people from all social strata in preserving and promoting moral values, lifestyle, good behavior, as well as improving the material and spiritual life of every family.
Until now, the province has 244 models of domestic violence prevention and control; 353 family clubs for sustainable development, 383 groups of domestic violence prevention and control, 582 trusted addresses in the community and 359 hotlines for domestic violence prevention and control. The activities of family clubs have helped each member raise awareness, promote the role and position of the family, together build a happy family, develop sustainably, and preserve the precious and good traditional values of the Vietnamese family.
This year’s Family Day of Bac Ninh province is organized with the desire to continue to remind each family member to always share, love and care for each other, towards family and honoring its values. Therefore, it makes an important contribution to building prosperous, progressive, happy and sustainable families; enriches cultural life at the grassroots level, forms a healthy cultural environment, and creates a driving force for the province’s socio-economic development.
A Talk at the program with the theme “Happy Family - Prosperous Nation” was chaired by Dr. and Psychologist Dinh Doan, and representatives from typical cultural clubs and families. It aimed to share tips for building happy and sustainable families; tips for effectively handling the stress and conflict, and secrets to connecting family members and nurturing a happy family.
On this occasion, 23 typical family clubs and 24 typical families in 2024 in the province were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
