9th Bac Ninh Taekwondo open tournament for teenagers in 2024 kicks off

The athletes from 12 clubs participate in the tournament.

This year's tournament attracted nearly 300 athletes from 12 clubs in the provinces of Bac Ninh, Da Nang, Quang Ninh, Hanoi, Hoa Binh, Son La. The athletes competed in the following events: men's and women's individual competition in a knockout format in 4 age groups, including 6-10, 11-14, 15-17 and 18 years old and above; mixed team competition for men and women in 2 age groups, including 11-14, 15-17 years old; individual competition for men and women, team competition for men and women, doubles competition for men and women in 4 age groups, including 6-10, 11-14, 15-17 and 18 years old and above and team performance competition.

The tournament takes place in 1 day, the Organizing Committee will award Gold, Silver, Bronze Medals to the winning athletes in each competition. At the same time, the First, Second, Third Flags will go to the teams based on the total number of Gold, Silver, Bronze Medals achieved by them.

After 8 times of organization, the tournament is a meaningful playground to encourage and motivate the physical education and sports movement in the province. This is also an opportunity for athletes from the clubs to compete, test, evaluate their professional level, accumulate experience, thereby, helping martial arts clubs to provide directions for athletes in the future.
