(BNP) - According to Decision No. 1589/QD-TTg on approving the Bac Ninh provincial planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, Bac Ninh will build dynamic regions based on the development of strategic spatial planning with 2 key regions and 5 development corridors.

Accordingly, the spatial arrangement plan for the development of dynamic economic zones includes the following administrative units: Bac Ninh city, Tu Son city, Tien Du district, Yen Phong district, Que Vo town and Thuan Thanh town. Among which, the central urban area of ​​the dynamic zone is Bac Ninh city, which is a multi-sector, multi-field service development urban area that serves as the province’s political - administrative, economic, cultural, medical, educational, scientific and technical center of the province; it is an urban area with comprehensive and sustainable development in industry, trade, services and finance.

Regarding infrastructure and urban areas, the province focuses on upgrading, developing, and modernizing transportation infrastructure, trade, service, logistics, and digital infrastructure to serve the development of digital government, digital economy, digital society, and industrial park infrastructure associated with urbanization.

Bac Ninh province develops a strategic spatial plan outlining 2 key areas and 5 development corridors. According to the province's growth orientation of becoming a centrally-run city, the urban structure is divided into 2 areas including an inner-city area to the north of the Duong river and a suburban area to the south of the Duong river. Bac Ninh has 1 central urban area of ​​Bac Ninh (inner-city area includes the administrative boundaries of Bac Ninh city, Tu Son city, Tien Du district, Que Vo town and Yen Phong district) developed according to the multi-functional urban cluster structure model, 1 suburban area with a satellite city (Thuan Thanh town), and the Industrial - Service - Agricultural development area is Gia Binh and Luong Tai districts.

The spatial structure is a combination of the radial network structure and 5 development corridors, including: The urban - commercial - service connection corridor along National Highway 1A, which connects Tu Son - Tien Du - Bac Ninh, combined with the urban development axis of Hanoi - Bac Ninh - Bac Giang. The corridor will focus on 3 existing urban areas: Tu Son, Tien Du, Bac Ninh, which will be limited by green wedges.

Along National Highway 18, there is a service-industry-trade connection corridor that connects Yen Phong, Bac Ninh, and Que Vo, as well as urban centers connected with concentrated industrial parks and service infrastructure to support industrial park operations.

Ecological corridors along Duong and Cau rivers; arranging social infrastructure works, urban technical infrastructure with low density, prioritizing the development of trees, landscapes, and water surfaces along river corridors; planning areas for high-tech agricultural development in Que Vo town, Yen Phong district, and Tien Du district.

Corridor for urban, industrial and high-tech ecological agricultural development along National Highway 17, which connects Que Vo - Gia Binh - Luong Tai - Thuan Thanh.

Urban service development corridor along National Highway 38 and Ring Road 4 of the Capital region; spiritual cultural tourism corridor connecting Tu Son city, Tien Du district and Thuan Thanh town along Provincial Road 276.
