Bac Ninh's GRDP ranks 2nd nationwide in first 6 months

(BNP) – According to information from the Statistics Office, Bacninh’s Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) increased by 14.7% in the first 6 months, the highest increase in the last 4 years. Bac Ninh province ranked second compared to other provinces and cities in the country in terms of growth rate.

Accordingly, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector decreased by 1.22% over the same period last year, reducing 0.05 percentage points, contributing to the growth rate of added value. The industry and construction sector had a high growth rate of 15.4%, contributing 11.92 percentage points to the growth rate of total added value. The service sector increased by 18.14%, contributing 3.41 percentage points.

The economic structure continues to shift towards increasing the proportion of industry - construction and services. Specifically, the industry and construction sector accounted for 75.71%; services accounted for 17.76%; agriculture, forestry and fishery accounted for 2.87%; product tax area minus product subsidies 3.66%.
