Bac Ninh summarizes 2024 National Second Division Football Tournament

Overview of the conference.

Participants at the conference were Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Park Hang Seo, Senior Advisor of Bac Ninh FC; leaders of relevant departments, sectors, localities and units.

The 2024 National Second Division Football Tournament took place from March 28 to June 17 with the participation of 14 teams dividing into Group A and Group B. Bac Ninh FC was in Group A. At the end of the group stage, Bac Ninh FC won first place in Group A (10 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss), advancing to the final round to compete against Ho Chi Minh City Youth which placed second in Group B.

For the work of the organization, Bac Ninh hosted 6 group stage matches at Tu Son city stadium. Home matches attracted a large audience and fans, who participated in cheering and motivating the players, creating a pervasive image, meeting the need for cultural enjoyment, and improving the spiritual lives of the people.

At the conference, delegates exchanged and discussed Bac Ninh football development orientation in the coming time, plans to develop the youth football training system, facility completion to meet training and competitions in domestic and international tournaments, and so on.

Concluding the conference, Standing Vice Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan acknowledged and praised Bac Ninh FC’s achievements in the 2024 National Second Division Football Tournament.

He requested the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to coordinate with Bac Ninh Football Joint Stock Company and related units to research, learn from experience, and propose perfect solutions to the organization and facilities, thereby, creating a foundation for Bac Ninh football in general and Bac Ninh FC in particular to develop professionally and achieve higher achievements in the coming seasons.

For Bac Ninh FC’s training location in Phu Xa, Van Mon (Yen Phong), he assigned the Yen Phong District People's Committee to cooperate with the Department of Construction to research a complete construction plan.

For Suoi Hoa Stadium, from now until July 10, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism needs to direct relevant units to soon complete the conditions to hand over and establish ownership for operation and effective use.

The Standing Vice Chairman acknowledged and appreciated Mr. Park Hang Seo’s contributions as Senior Advisor of Bac Ninh FC, which have brought new vitality to Bac Ninh football, especially in developing the province’s youth football. Bac Ninh will have appropriate policies to improve the quality of youth training, attract more investment resources from socialized sources, thereby, ensuring harmonious development between the economy, culture, and sports, he added.
