Bac Ninh to suspend contract and tourist cars of more than 9 seats
(BNP) - From April 1, 2020, all activities of contract and tourist cars of more than 9 seats from Bac Ninh to provinces and vice versa will be suspended.

This is one of contents in Document No. 536/SGTVT-ATGT of Department of Transport on the implementation of the Prime Minister's Directive No. 15/CT-TTg on drastically implementing peak phase of prevention and fighting Covid-19 epidemic.
Accordingly, the Department of Transport urges transport units to suspend all activities of contract cars of more than 9 seats (except for cars contracted to transport officials and workers to work in industrial parks, factories; cars serving funerals, weddings; cars transporting people in concentrated isolation and other cases with objectives of Covid-19 prevention and control) and 9-seat passenger cars from Bac Ninh to the provinces and vice versa. Implementation time is from April 1, 2020 until further notice.
Department of Transport assigns its Inspectorate Division to coordinate with police forces to inspect and supervise the compliance of transport units; strictly punish units that do not comply with the regulations.
The Department further urges People's Committees of districts, town and city to coordinate information with the cooperatives, enterprises and individual households in their respective localities to manage and direct the functional forces to inspect and punish units that do not comply with the regulations.
The media agencies promote and advise people not to use public transport to limit the spread of disease.
