Craft of making Dong Ho folk painting attracts visitors in India
(BNP) - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India (January 7, 1972 - 2022), from December 12 to 14, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs chaired and coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnamese Embassy in India to organize Vietnam Day in New Delhi - India. This is the last activity in the series of Vietnam Overseas Days in 2022 organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Vietnam Day in India 2022 program not only introduced the beauty of the country, people and unique features of Vietnamese culture to the Indian public but also contributed to consolidating and tightening the traditional friendship relationship and enhancing the development of people-to-people exchange, trade and tourism relations between the two countries.
As the highlight of the series of activities of Vietnam Day 2022, Vietnam Cultural Space continued its mission of bringing the unique features of Vietnamese culture closer to world friends. The people in India has had the opportunity to experience Vietnamese folk art forms such as Dong Ho folk painting art, “To He” (toy figurine) and some performances of ethnic musical instruments.
Under the exchange of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bac Ninh province sent Excellent Artist Nguyen Thi Oanh to participate in the promotion and introduction program highlighting the unique features of Dong Ho folk painting making.
