Employment Index in industrial enterprises decreases
(BNP) - Industrial production tends to slow down, especially in the electronics manufacturing industry, so the employment index in industrial enterprises shows signs of decline.
Many enterprises use automation technology to replace labor in some stages.
In November, the employment index decreased by 0.8% over the previous month and decreased by 8% year-on-year. In particular, the FDI sector decreased by 1.1% and 10%, because some enterprises gradually applied automatic technology to replace labor in some stages, so the number of labor decreased rapidly; while the state sector increased by 1.1% and by 2.2%; Non-state sector also increased by 0.3% and 3.7% respectively.
After 11 months, the employment index of industrial enterprises only saw an increase of 1.1% year-on-year. Specifically, the manufacturing industry increased by 1%; electricity production and distribution increased by 0.5%; water supply, waste management increased by 11.6%. Regarding economic sectors, the state sector climbed by 4.5%; the non-state sector increased by 1.4% and FDI sector raised by only 1% over the same period last year.
