Golden Rice Volleyball Cup Championship 2023 opens

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Hanh Chung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of a number of departments, branches, sectors and localities.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Provincial Farmers' Union deployed early and well implemented the propaganda of the Golden Rice Volleyball Cup Championship 2023. Up to now, 6/8 districts, towns and cities have organized district-level tournaments with the participation of more than 2,000 athletes, contributing to promoting the movement of physical training and sports at all levels of Farmers' Unions in the locality as well as selecting strong teams to participate in the provincial final round.

42 teams will participate in the final round, in which, the leather volleyball content has 5 teams, the air volleyball content has 37 teams from 8 districts, towns and cities with more than 320 athletes.

The tournament will take place from August 26 to August 31. This is a sporting event to promote the campaign "All people exercise their body following the great Uncle Ho's example", celebrate the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) as well as successfully welcome the Congress of Farmers' Unions at all levels to the Provincial Congress of Farmers' Unions for the term 2023 - 2028.

The tournament is an opportunity for athletes to compete against one another, share information, and learn how to better their skills.
