Golden seal “Emperor’s Treasure” recognized as National treasure

The Golden seal “Emperor’s Treasure”.

According to the Decision, the Golden Seal “Emperor’s Treasure” dated in March, the 4th year of Minh Mang (1823). It is currently kept at the Nam Hong Royal Museum, Tu Son city, Bac Ninh province, and it is recognized as a National treasure this phase.

Up to now, together with the Golden seal “Emperor’s Treasure”, Bac Ninh province has 19 treasures in total. The National treasures include: The Three statues of Buddhas in the three times of But Thap pagoda, the Stone altar of But Thap pagoda and the Lotus-shaped nine-storey prayer wheel of But Thap pagoda (preserved at But Thap pagoda, Dinh To commune, Thuan Thanh town); the Wooden block of Dau pagoda (preserved at Dau pagoda, Thuan Thanh town); the Lintel above altar of Diem communal house; the Doctoral stelae of the Bac Ninh Temple of Literature; the Amitabha Buddha Statue (preserved at Phat Tich pagoda, Tien Du district); the Statue of GuanYin with thousand eyes and hands (preserved at But Thap pagoda, Thuan Thanh town); the Xa Loi Thap Minh stele (currently preserved at Bac Ninh Provincial Museum); the Stone Dragon (or Snake Deity statue) (currently preserved at Le Van Thinh temple, Gia Binh district); the Three statues of Buddhas in the three times (currently preserved at Linh Ung pagoda, Gia Dong ward, Thuan Thanh town); the 10 Holy animal statues of Phat Tich pagoda; the Dragon engraved pillar of Dam pagoda; the Four statues of Tứ Pháp Goddesses in Dau - Luy Lau historical region (currently worshiped at Dau pagoda, Phi Tuong pagoda, Dan pagoda, Thuan Thanh town); the Woodblocks of book Enthusiastic Insights about Medical Practice (preserved at the Provincial Museum); Dong Son culture bronze jar (Tu Son city); Tinh Lu pagoda stone stele (Gia Binh district), Quan The Am statue of Cung Kiem pagoda (Que Vo town).
