Volleyball Training and Competition Center of Bac Ninh Province inaugurates

Central and provincial leaders cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Center.

Attending the inauguration ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; the Provincial Permanent People's Council and the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies.

Covering on an area of ​​nearly 7,000 m2, the project is invested by the Bac Ninh Urban Development Area Management Board. It consists of volleyball training and competition house (floor area of ​​nearly 1,500 m2, more than 600 seats for spectators); office building combined with athlete dormitory (scale of 6 floors above ground and 1 basement); outdoor infrastructure and auxiliary items... with total investment of more than VND 105 billion. The project started construction at the end of 2018, completed and handed over the Volleyball Training and Competition House to the Provincial Volleyball Training Center for use from May 2023... The investor has managed quality, progress, labor safety, and construction site sanitation in compliance with the requirements.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Standing Vice Chairman Dao Quang Khai acknowledged and praised the investor, consultants, and contractors for their efforts and determination in project management, operation, and construction. At the same time, he affirmed that the project is one of the projects that demonstrates the province's special attention to improving infrastructure, developing high-performance sports, creating a unique mark for Bac Ninh sports; encouraging the development of mass sports movements, creating opportunities for all people to participate in training, competition and training activities to improve health.

Khai requested the Bac Ninh Urban Development Area Management Board to work with relevant departments, branches and units to study and propose investment plans to expand the campus, create landscapes and spaces; receive, manage, exploit and operate the project effectively as well as supplement necessary equipment to serve the living, studying, practicing and competing of athletes and staff of the Provincial Volleyball Training Center, actively contributing to the cause of developing mass sports and bringing the province's high-performance sports to new heights.
