Inspecting more than 1,400 food production and trading establishments
(BNP) - On the occasion of Lunar New Year and the 2025 Spring Festival season, the Provincial Food Safety Management Authority and relevant agencies jointly strengthened measures to ensure food safety, serving people to celebrate Tet and enjoy Spring safely and healthily.

The province has established 133 inspection teams, including 2 provincial teams, 9 district teams, and 122 commune teams. By the end of February 20, the province had inspected 1,427 food production and trading establishments, of which 1,317 establishments passed (accounting for 92.3%); 110 establishments were warned, and 2 establishments were fined VND 6 million.
Through actual inspections at food production and trading establishments, basically the food items have clear origins, the establishments fully store legal documents related to production and trading activities: business registration license, certificate of food safety qualified facility/commitment of the facility to ensure food safety, documents proving the origin of food ingredients, and self-declaration of products. At the same time, they meet the conditions of facilities, equipment, tools and people in food production and trading.
During the inspection process, the delegations coordinated to propagate the Food Safety Law so that food producers, processors, and traders understand and comply with the Law, especially products used a lot during Tet, helping consumers wisely choose food products that ensure food safety and quality.
