Investing more than VND 1,300 billion to build high-tech domestic solid waste treatment plant in Thuan Thanh
(BNP) - The Provincial People's Committee has issued Decision No. 527/QD-UBND on approving the investment policy of project of building high-tech domestic solid waste treatment plant for energy generation in Cuu Yen hamlet, Ngu Thai commune, Thuan Thanh district.

The project of building high-tech domestic solid waste treatment plant for energy generation invested by Thuan Thanh Environment Joint Stock Company (Vietnam) and JFE Engineering Corporation (Japan) with an area about 4.8ha with a total cost of more than VND 1,348 billion.
The plant uses JFE's Hyper Grate technoloy - Japan with a maximum capacity of 500 tons/day and night to handle solid waste; generating capacity is from 11-13 MW, or exceeding 10% of the load.
The project will begin from the fourth quarter of 2020 and is expected to be completed and put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2023.
