(BNP) - Kha Le temple, Kha Le area, Vo Cuong ward, Bac Ninh city was originally built a long time ago and was renovated and expanded on a large scale under the reign of Le Trung Hung. In order to implement the scorched earth resistance policy, the temple was demolished. In 2002, the temple was rebuilt with traditional architectural appearance.


Kha Le temple has an architecture of Chinese “Nhi” letter.

Kha Le temple worships the tutelary gods, famous generals of the Tran Dynasty: Chinh Truc, Nghiem Tri and Quang Phap.

Currently, Kha Le temple has an architecture of Chinese “Nhi” letter including the following structures: 3-compartment Front Ceremonial Hall, 3-compartment Emperor’s Harem.

The annual traditional festival of Kha Le temple is held on the 6th day of the first lunar month. During the festival, there are many games to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of the people such as Quan Ho singing, Tuong, Cheo, wrestling, volleyball, football... attracting a large number of local people to participate, looking back to their roots.
