Many targets of socio-economic development increase in first 6 months of 2021

Bac Ninh successfully organized the elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly (NA) and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure with a voter turnout rate of 99.07%. Many targets of socio-economic development increased in first 6 months of 2021 compared with the same period. Especially, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) increased by 7.45%; State budget revenue at 7.5%; industrial production index at 11.8%; export of goods at 29.7%, etc. 05 integrated industrial zones approved for investment policy by the Prime Minister; 04 integrated industrial parks and 02 industrial clusters were established.

The Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) ranked 4th out of 63 (up 46 ranks). The fields of culture and society are concerned; social security work is ensured, people's lives are improved. Education and training continued to affirm its position and spearhead education quality, ranking 7^th nationwide in terms of the percentage of candidates winning prizes, the 6th in the country and 2nd in the Red River Delta in terms of number of candidates wining the first prize at the National Competition for Excellent Students, the school year 2020 - 2021; 03 students participated in the Asian Olympic Competition, 01 student participated in the European Olympic Competition; 01 project won the third prize of the International Science and Technology Contest 2021.
