Nguyen Van Cu School of Politics receives Certificate of recognition for achieving level 1 standards

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, awarded the Certificate of Recognition and congratulated Nguyen Van Cu School of Politics in Bac Ninh province for achieving level 1 standards.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (Academy), Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council attended the ceremony.

Also attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Vung, Principal of Nguyen Van Cu School of Politics, briefly reported on the results of building the School to meet level 1 standards.

The School achieved 45/55 targets. After more than 3 years, the School promoted the spirit of solidarity and made efforts to complete 55/55 targets, in 6 groups of criteria meeting level 1 standards. On December 10, 2024, the Director of the Academy established an Appraisal Council, evaluated and unanimously recognized Nguyen Van Cu School of Politics as meeting level 1 standards, in which many targets exceeded the regulations.

Currently, the School has 32/32 lecturers with master’s degrees or higher, including 3 PhDs, 3 graduate students expected to defend their thesis in 2025; 23/32 senior lecturers or higher. These indicators all exceed the standard 1. At many National Excellent Lecturer Competitions, the School has lecturers who have achieved the title of excellent lecturer.

The targets for topics and scientific seminars at all levels have all met and exceeded the standards in quantity and ensured quality, including 4 scientific seminars and discussions at the school level; 16 topics and initiatives at the grassroots level; 1 provincial scientific seminar; in 2025 alone, the School will have 2 more provincial scientific topics defended (this target meets the standard of 2). The School Party Committee was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Party Standing Committee for excellently completing its tasks in 5 consecutive years and the School was honored to receive the Second Class Independence Medal.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang commended and congratulated the outstanding achievements of Nguyen Van Cu School of Politics in the process of building the school to meet level 1 standards.

He suggested that Bac Ninh province would continue to pay attention to leadership and close direction so that Nguyen Van Cu School of Politics can continue to affirm its position and role as a Party School; review the criteria, soon complete and strive to soon bring the School to level 2 standards.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan congratulated Nguyen Van Cu School of Politics on reaching an important milestone in the process of construction and development, which is an important premise to enter a new stage.
