Pigeons flying contest to celebrate 78th anniversary of National Day September 2

Attending the contest were Mr. Nguyen Dinh Loi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Representatives of a number of relevant departments and sectors.

Participating in this year's contest were 145 bird cages from the clubs of the Association of Ornamental Creatures in 08 districts, towns and cities.

Releasing pigeons is a beautiful pastime, a cultural feature of the people of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac for hundreds of years. The contest is organized on anniversaries and major holidays throughout the year to show the wish of all people for peace, prosperity, and happiness. At the same time, it is an opportunity for club members to exchange and learn from one another's experience rearing and releasing birds, thereby, contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural beauty as well as the traditional spiritual values of the homeland.

At the end of the Contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first, second and third prizes to the artists with excellent birds participating in the contest.
