Bac Ninh wins first place in classical wrestling at National Youth Classical and Freestyle Wrestling Championship

Bac Ninh delegation ranked first place in the classical wrestling content at the Tournament.

The tournament attracted nearly 300 athletes from 20 delegations of the provinces, cities and sectors nationwide, competing in men's freestyle wrestling, women's freestyle wrestling, men's classical wrestling, and competing in the form of knockout format to win 33 sets of medals.

Bac Ninh had 15 athletes participating in 3 contents: men's freestyle wrestling, women's freestyle wrestling, and classical wrestling.

At the end of the tournament, Bac Ninh delegation won 5 Gold, 7 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals (ranked 1st place in the classical wrestling content). Of which, 5 Gold Medals belonged to athletes: Nguyen Trong Quang, classical wrestling (50kg class); Nguyen Trong Nam, classical wrestling (55kg class); Nguyen The Hoang Anh, classical wrestling (77kg class); Nguyen Van Bao, classical wrestling, (130kg class); Do Ngoc Linh, women's freestyle wrestling, (50kg class).
