Thanks to the favorable geopolitical position, policies for investment attraction, and an open business environment, Bac Ninh has now become a bright spot in the country in terms of investment attraction and industrial development. Currently, the province has more than 2,000 FDI projects with a total investment capital of USD 24.6 billion from 40 countries and territories.

On the other hand, Bac Ninh also has a special advantage in the development of trade and logistical services. 24 projects in operation in the field of logistics are licensed; 7 logistics centers in integrated industrial parks are invested by foreign-invested enterprises, serving the storage and transportation needs of large FDI corporations, Giang said.

With the motto "Bac Ninh always accompanies the enterprises, the success of enterprises is also the success of the province", the Chairwoman committed to creating favorable conditions for Maersk Group to research the investment in the province.

For his part, Kevin Stuart Burrell said that Maersk is the largest multinational corporation providing integrated logistics services from Denmark. It operates in more than 130 countries. In Vietnam, the Group established Maersk Vietnam Company in 1991 and is the country's first logistics company with 100% foreign investment, with over 1,300 direct workers.

In the coming time, he hoped that the provincial leaders would create conditions for the Group to research and invest in Bac Ninh.
