Program “Cultural colors of Vietnam – Japan” takes place in middle of November 2023 at Kinh Bac Cultural Center

(BNP) – According to information from Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, an art program called “Cultural colors of Vietnam – Japan” will take place at 8.00 P.M. on November 17, 2023 (Tuesday) at Kinh Bac Cultural Center, Bac Ninh city.


Artists of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater will participate in the program.

The program is jointly organized by Provincial Party Committee – People’s Council – People’s Committee – Fatherland Front Committee. With a duration of 90 - 100 minutes, the program is performed by artists of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater; and Japan Kimono Association. Professional dancers from the Central Government will perform music and dance performance imbued with the cultural identities of Bac Ninh and Japan; traditional musical instrument ensemble, drum performances and songs introducing the country and people of Vietnam and Bac Ninh.

The highlight of the program is the performance of Japanese Kimono and Yukata costumes; Japanese musical works and Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs.

The program is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. This is also an opportunity to promote image of the land, culture, and people of Vietnam in general and the people of Bac Ninh in particular to Japanese partners and people and vice versa, thereby, strengthening the spirit of solidarity and attachment between Vietnam and Japan.
