More than 200 athletes attend Eximbank Northern Regional Sports Festival in 2023

Eximbank Trade Union’s leader presents souvenir flags to units participating in the Festival.

More than 200 athletes from Eximbank Branches in Northern provinces and cities took part in the Festival. Athletes competed in two sports: men's and women's football and tug of war. The women's football content with 07 teams divided into two groups, with each half lasting 15 minutes. Men's football with 9 teams divided into three groups, with each half lasting 20 minutes. Men's and women's football teams competed in the 07-player football rules format, selecting the first and second teams from each group to advance to the next round.

Tug of war has the participation of 11 teams, competing in a knockout format and selecting the best teams to advance to the next round.

The Festival is an opportunity for officials and trade union members of Eximbank banking sector to boost learning exchanges, foster the spirit of solidarity and attachment, and create an energetic, excited, and proactive atmosphere as well as strengthen emulation movements, so contributing to the unit's and the industry's great completion of political responsibilities in 2023 and subsequent years.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the matches in both men's football and women's football took place, attracting a large audience to enthusiastically cheer for the teams.

The Festival took place over 2 days, October 14 - 15, 2023. At the end of the Sports Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to units and individuals with outstanding achievements in each competition content.
