The Chairman assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to direct the synchronous and effective implementation of solutions to regulate supply and demand, stabilize the market and policies to encourage consumption in order to organize the domestic market well, traditional and modern distribution channels, facilitate the consumption of goods, and open up the domestic market; promote trade promotion, strengthen regional and area connections to exchange potentials and strengths, promote the consumption of domestically produced goods in traditional and modern distribution channels; focus on logistics connections, facilitate the transportation of goods.

The functional units actively organize promotional programs, strengthen connections, and distribute OCOP products to stimulate consumption, support the consumption of locally produced goods, especially at the end of the year to maximize the domestic market; direct the distribution system in the area to ensure the supply of essential goods; promote the implementation of support programs for people and businesses in the purchase and sale of domestically produced products and goods on digital platforms and e-commerce; organize activities to promote regional linkages in e-commerce.

Continue to direct agencies to closely monitor market developments in the area, direct production according to plan to ensure goods meet consumer demand in the domestic market; regulate supply and demand of goods and stabilize the market, especially during holidays and Tet; promptly take solutions to remove difficulties, create favorable conditions for businesses and entities participating in business in the market under their authority; effectively deploy measures to inspect and control the market; support businesses in handling issues related to trade defense investigations, anti-smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods.
