Vice Chairman Ngo Tan Phuong inspects construction progress of provincial road 287 project

(BNP) – On the afternoon of November 27, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong inspected the construction progress of the Provincial Road (PR) 87 project from Hoan Son commune to the intersection of the northern approach road to Phat Tich - Dai Dong Thanh bridge (Kinh Duong Vuong bridge), Tien Du district.

The investment project to build PR 287 from Hoan Son commune to the intersection of the northern approach road to Phat Tich - Dai Dong Thanh bridge (Kinh Duong Vuong bridge) is over 3.6km long, the starting point intersects with Noi Due - Tri Phuong road (in Hoan Son commune), the end point intersects with the northern approach road to Kinh Duong Vuong bridge in Phat Tich commune. Its total investment is nearly VND 326.4 billion. The project is divided into 2 packages No. 5 and No. 6; both packages have the contract implementation period extended to December 31, 2025. The total construction output reached VND 5.8 billion out of VND 148,412 billion; disbursement reached 78% of the capital allocated for the project.

Up to now, package No. 5 has temporarily handed over 87.2% of the site; package No. 6 has temporarily handed over 22% of the site.

At the conference, delegates clarified some difficulties in site clearance for residential land, auctioned land, high-voltage and medium-voltage power lines, supply of sand for embankment... and proposed solutions to speed up the project's progress.

Based on the delegates’ opinions, Vice Chairman Ngo Tan Phuong requested the Chairman of the Compensation and Site Clearance Council in Tien Du district to meet directly and work with the households and related units that are still stuck with the site and approve the compensation and support plan for all remaining areas by December 2024.

He requested the investor to direct contractors to arrange sufficient manpower, equipment and materials; speed up construction progress and have a construction protection plan to ensure security, labor safety, and environmental sanitation. He also assigned the Department of Transport, and relevant departments and sectors to closely coordinate with localities in resolving project site problems.
