Provincial leaders offer incense to open Kinh Duong Vuong festival on occasion of Giap Thin Spring 2024

Attending the opening ceremony were Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang Deputy Secretary of the PPC and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mrs. Tran Thi Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Loi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mrs. Tran Thi Van, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; leaders of departments, sectors, towns and strata of all people.

In a solemn atmosphere, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan and the delegation respectfully offered incense and expressed their gratitude to the ancestors Kinh Duong Vuong for building the country, expanding the territory, and praying for peace in the country and people, good weather, good harvests, and everyone and every home to be healthy, peaceful, prosperous, and happy.

The Bac Ninh province’s Party Committee, Government, and people promised to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity, determined to successfully implement the targets of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels, term 2020 - 2025.

After the incense offering ceremony, PPC’s Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan beat the drum to open the Kinh Duong Vuong festival.

In addition to traditional rituals, Kinh Duong Vuong Festival also has many rich and unique cultural activities, such as Quan Ho singing, Cheo singing, Tuong singing, water puppetry, and Trong Quan singing. Besides, many folk games such as tug of war, pot beating, tom whore's nest, Chinese chess, volleyball, etc. have also been restored to serve people and tourists coming to enjoy the festival.

Kinh Duong Vuong Festival takes place for 3 days, from February 25 - 27, 2024 (January 16 to 18).
