Secretary Dao Hong Lan receives Japan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Vietnam
(BNP) – In the morning of December 16, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies Dao Hong Lan received and worked with Mr. Yamada Takio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan in Vietnam and Japanese enterprises to learn about investment environment in Bac Ninh province.

Participants at the meeting were Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Huong Giang and leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors.
Welcoming the taskforce of Japanese embassy in Vietnam to Bac Ninh, Secretary Lan briefed on the outstanding achievements of Bac Ninh province’s socio-economic development in recent years. Despite being affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, the province implemented many solutions to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses so as to ensure production and business as well as jobs for employees. In particular, 05 new industrial parks were established in the province.
Lan affirmed that to achieve these results, there is an important contribution of foreign invested enterprises, among which, Japan ranked second with 96 projects with total investment capital of more than USD 1.5 billion. Especially, JFE Engineering Corporation and Thuan Thanh Environment Joint Stock Company jointly built a high-tech domestic solid waste treatment plant for energy generation in Ngu Thai commune, Thuan Thanh district.
She hoped that with his position, Ambassador Yamada Takio will become a bridge to connect the cooperation relationship between Bac Ninh province and Japanese localities as well as introduce Japanese enterprises, especially high-tech enterprises in the field of electronics industry and information technology to invest in Bac Ninh.
With the motto "Bac Ninh always accompanies businesses, the success of enterprises is also the success of the province", Lan stressed that the province would create all the most favorable conditions for Japanese enterprises in searching and investing Bac Ninh.
Ambassador Yamada Takio highly appreciated the province’s outstanding achievements in the during time, especially the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In order to promote investment promotion activities between Japan and Bac Ninh in the coming time, Mr. Yamada Takio suggested the province should ensure the following conditions including high-quality labor resources, housing for workers, infrastructure transportation, stable power supply, expansion of Japanese language training programs in educational institutions, etc.
