Secretary Dao Hong Lan visits and presents Tet gift at Mon Quang Pump Station

 (BNP) - On January 22, Ms. Dao Hong Lan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited and presented Tet gifts to officers and employees of Mon Quang Pump Station, Lang Ngam Commune, Gia Binh District .

Mon Quang pump station consist of 11 machines with a design capacity of more than 2,800m3/machine per hour, meeting the irrigation of nearly 4,000 agricultural areas in Gia Binh district. Up to now, the irrigation for the Spring crop reached more than 20%.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary Dao Hong Lan visited, encouraged and sent Tet greetings to all officers and employees working at the Pump Station. She urged the officers and employees to promote the highest sense of responsibility, arrange adequate shifts and crews to maintain the operation of the pump station with an aim to serving the people to cultivate promptly in the best crop frame.

Ms. Lan also asked Nam Duong Irrigation Exploitation One Member Company Limited to coordinate with localities to direct farmers in using water efficiently, economically and avoiding loss and waste of water while waiting for rice seedlings to cultivate, contributing to long-term agricultural production.
