Secretary Dao Hong Lan visits Phu Lang pottery village

(BNP) - On November 3, Ms. Dao Hong Lan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of relevant departments and branches visited Phu Lang pottery village, Phu Lang commune, Que Vo district.

During her visit to Ngoc ceramic production establishment, Secretary Dao Hong Lan acknowledged the dynamism and creativity of ceramic establishments in investing and expanding production scale and advertising products at home and abroad. She also informed that Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has recently approved a project to assist training as well tourism development in Phu Lang, which is a good opportunity to promote the village’s ceramic products to the world as well as open up opportunities for local tourism development.

In the coming time, she assigned Que Vo district to to prepare all conditions for the project.

* On the same day, the Secretary directly checked the domestic waste incineration at the integrated domestic waste treatment area in Phu Lang commune.

She urged functional departments and Que Vo district to speed up the project "hi-tech solid waste to energy plant" in Phu Lang commune and other projects in Thuan Thanh and Luong Tai districts to ensure the complete treatment of the garbage in the province.

In the forth coming time, she asked Hung Phat Urban Environment Co., Ltd. to strictly follow the process of domestic waste treatment, regularly spray deodorant chemicals and remove all residual waste while planting trees to provide safe living environment for local people. She also required for synchronous environmental protection measures for sustainable economic development.
