Mr. Wang Ming Wang, Chairman of Sunwoda said that the Corporation was founded in 1997 and mainly developed into products related to lithium-ion batteries. It currently has deployed 15 production facilities domestically and abroad such as India, Vietnam, Hungary and Morocco, he added. He further stressed that its branches have been established in the USA, France, Israel, Korea and Japan, etc.

With 5 main business areas including consumer batteries; electric vehicle batteries; energy technology; smart hardware; innovation and ecology, the Corporation now ranks 15^th in manufacturing in Guangdong province and 218^th among Chinese private enterprises. The overall output value in 2023 was about RMB 87.6 billion.

Mr. Wang Ming Wang also noted that Bac Ninh province province has a favorable geographical location, a safe and attractive investment environment, and it is considered to be one of the localities with strong and comprehensive development in recent years. In the coming time, the Corporation will soon visit and research investment opportunities, and the posibility of building a factory and developing production in Bac Ninh province, he added.

Standing Vice Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan expressed his impression with the achieved results in production and business activities of the Corporation. At the same time, he affirmed that the Corporation’s manufacturing fields fit with Bac Ninh province’s current strategy to attract investment and develop high-tech industry.

Tuan briefed on the province’s economic, cultural and social development situation and highlighted that Bac Ninh now has 16 industrial parks, attracting more than 2,100 FDI projects from 41 countries and territories that invest in 16 fields, especially the manufacturing and processing industry.

Among which, China has nearly 600 projects with a total registered capital of about USD 1.16 billion. Chinese enterprises mainly manufacture in the fields of electronic components, precision mechanics, agricultural and food processing, service industries, civil industry, etc., which positively contribute to Bac Ninh province’s socio-economic development.

In the coming time, Tuan hoped and believed that Sunwoda would soon implement project investment, and operate effectively and successfully in Bac Ninh province. The province commits to creating the most favorable conditions for the Corporation throughout the investment, production and business processes in the province, he said.

At the working session, the Standing Vice Chairman and the delegation also directly discussed and shared some contents that the Corporation is interested in such as land, preferential policies of the Vietnamese Government and the province in attracting investment, tax incentives, and so on.

Previously, the delegation visited the manufacturing factory of Sunwoda Electronics Corporation in Huizhou city, Guangdong province.

On this occasion, Standing Vice Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan handed over the Letter from the Provincial Party Committee’s Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan to the leaders of Sunwoda. In the Letter, the Secretary emphasized that Sunwoda’s manufacturing fields are consistent with the strategy to attract investment and develop high-tech industry in Bac Ninh province. At the same time, he confirmed that with the general incentives of the Vietnamese Government, Bac Ninh province has continuously improved the investment environment and infrastructure to create more favorable conditions for investors. These are favorable conditions for the Corporation to develop production and business activities in the province, he noted.

Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan also sincerely sent his invitation to the Chairman of Sunwoda and its delegation to visit Bac Ninh province in the near future to discuss more specifically the cooperation opportunities between Bac Ninh province and the Corporation.

*On the same day, Standing Vice Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan and the delegation visited and worked with Baolong Technology Joint Stock Company in Shenzhen city. The Company currently has a production project at Tien Son Industrial Park, Bac Ninh province. In the upcoming time, the Company plans to continue investing in expanding the factory in Bac Ninh province.
