Step by step innovating and improving efficiency of science and technology management, meeting requirements of integration and development
(BNP) - In recent years, research activities and application of science and technology in production and life have been actively implemented, gradually going into depth.

Currently, the province has 201 facilities using radioactive sources and radiation equipment in industry and medicine with more than 800 radiation workers effectively serving production, business and medical examination and treatment. In addition, the province also builds information technology infrastructure applying the ISO 9001 Quality Management System in 166 agencies, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations and modernizing the state administration.
Over the past 10 years, the Department of Science and Technology has issued more than 60 Certificates of Technology Transfer Contracts to more than 30 FDI enterprises. Bac Ninh is also one of the leading provinces in the country in intellectual property protection with more than 3,500 protection certificates, including 32 products under the common ownership of the community protected under the forms of collective trademarks, certification trademarks, and geographical indications. Especially, for the first time, the 2022 Provincial-level Innovation and Startup Competition was organized to strongly spread the innovation and startup movement, gradually forming and developing the startup ecosystem.
The province has more than 400 science and technology tasks that organizations and individuals have researched, implemented, and transferred in all areas of life and production. Bac Ninh established a high-tech agricultural production experimental zone with a scale of 17 hectares, attracting many businesses to operate and transfer modern technology. Science and technology management has been gradually innovated, meeting the requirements of integration and development.
Furthermore, the province has established 1,105 high-quality, productive rice growing areas with each area of 3 hectares or more; 72 high-tech cultivation facilities; 47 vegetable and flower production facilities in net houses, membrane houses, and greenhouses with a total area of 29.13 hectares, 57 high-tech livestock farms and enterprises, generating billions of VND in income per year.
