Total budget revenue of Yen Phong district reaches over VND 1,800 billion

Total Gross Regional Domestic Product of the district reached nearly VND 8,000 billion with an increase of 7.2% compared to 2018. The industrial and handicraft production was estimated at over VND 854,000 billion; total state budget revenue reached more than VND 1,800 billion, reaching 207% of the plan. Per capita income reached VND 86.76 million/person/year (an increase of VND 11.04 million compared to 2018); the percentage of poor households was only 1.39%, and near-poor households was 1.94% according to the new criteria for the period of 2016 - 2020.

Up to now, the district has 48 out of 48 schools meeting the national standards; 72% of villages and neighborhoods and 90% of families achieved cultural titles. Political security, social order and safety are guaranteed and maintained.

In 2020, Yen Phong district continues to focus on promoting administrative procedures reform, improving management and administration capacity of authorities at all levels, promoting socio-economic development, improving material life and the spirit of the people; proactively in the process of economic integration; maintaining order and social security ..., striving to reach the local GRDP of VND 8,600 billion; budget revenue increases by 9% compared to the estimate assigned by the province. Along with that, the district maintains 100% of schools meeting national standards; 72% or more villages and neighborhoods achieve cultural titles; the rate of poor households decreases to 1.3% and so on.
