Total mobilized capital of banking sector reaches more than VND 100,000 billion

(BNP) - In January, the total mobilized capital of banking sector reached VND 101,500 billion, decreasing by 1.5% over the previous month but still increasing by 15.5% over the same period last year.

Total outstanding loans by the end of January were estimated at VND 80,900 billion, slightly increasing by 0.1% over the previous month and 18% year-on-year. Bad debts by the end of the month were VND 700 billion, accounting for 0.87%/total outstanding loans, decreasing by 3.2% over the previous month, but rising by 22.8% year-on-year.
