Transfer of science and technology into aquaculture production to be promoted

The plan aims to promote activities of application and transfer of science and technology for aquaculture production in order to increase added value, reduce production costs and post-harvest losses and develop sustainably the aquaculture industry. Annually, 1-2 initiatives for technical improvement and science and technology innovation are recognized; 2-3 technical advances are transferred into production, etc.  

To achieve the above goal, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to work with relevant departments, branches and district-level People's Committees to link scientific research activities and actual production; check and evaluate the application and implementation of aquatic technical advances in production; strengthen propaganda and technical training in the field of seed production, cultivation, preservation and harvesting of key aquatic species for application of production, while on the other hand, participate in aquaculture science and technology information system to meet the needs of management, update and exchange of information in scientific research and transfer of aquaculture technology and so on.
