Vietnam National Day at EXPO 2020 Dubai
(BNP) - On December 30, 2021, Vietnam National Day at World Expo 2020 Dubai officially opened with the flag raising ceremony and traditional art performance in the city of Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

As part of Vietnam's activities at EXPO 2020 Dubai, the delegation of Bac Ninh province were Mr.Nguyen Hanh Chung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial Propaganda and Training Committee; the Department of Planning and Investment; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism together with artists and actors. The delegation participated in a number of activities such as Propaganda and promotion of the image of Bac Ninh to international friends; performance and promotion of Quan Ho Bac Ninh folk song - Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity; performance of Dong Ho folk painting craft and so on.
With a history of more than 170 years, the World Expo is one of the three most influential global events (besides the World Cup and the Olympics), held every five years with a topical global theme. EXPO 2020 Dubai with the theme "Connecting minds, creating the future", is a historical exhibition taking place in the context that the world is still struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic and is the first major global event open to visitors since the outbreak of the pandemic.
With the theme “Converging the past, spreading the future” through rich and unique activities, Vietnam National Day attracted the attention of millions of visitors in Dubai and billions of people on the planet.
