Yen Man Communal House
(BNP) – Yen Man communal house (Yen Man quarter, Kinh Bac ward, Bac Ninh city) was built in the early Le dynasty. It worships General Dinh Binh (Binh Cong). With his military strategy, Binh Cong made many great achievements, together with Trieu Quang Phuc defeated the Liang army, and took control of Long Bien citadel.

The communal house is located in the middle of the village, surrounded by a residential area. Its large grounds are surrounded by a wall system, inside the yard there are many century-old trees creating a solemn and ancient atmosphere.

Yen Man communal house currently includes architectural works: the 5-compartment Front Ceremonial Hall in the front, behind is the Great Communal Hall including the 3-compartment Main Hall with 2 wings and 3-compartment Emperor’s Harem.
The roof is tiled, the four corners have soft curved edges.
The frame is made of wood. The doors are opened in the 3 middle compartments facing southwest.

The communal house still preserves 4 horizontal lacquered boards of Nguyen dynasty, parallel sentences, incense burners, ordinations, stone steles, altars, etc.
A set of eight treasures.
The traditional festival of Yen Man communal house is held from the 10th to the 19th of the first lunar month every year. The festival has the participation of a large number of people and local authorities.
After the ceremony is the festival with many unique folk games and performances such as: Quan Ho singing on the boat, cockfighting, wrestling, Chinese chess, and so on.
The altar of the heroic martyrs is located in the communal house grounds.
Yen Man communal house is ranked as a National Historical, Architectural and Artistic Relic according to the Decision No. 154/QD dated January 25, 1991.
