(BNP) - The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam will take place from January 19th to 25th, 2026 at the National Convention Center in Hanoi. First working day of the 14th National Congress of the Party took place on January 19th.

With the motto "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development," the 14th National Congress of the Party will take place in Hanoi from January 19-25, 2026, with the participation of 1,586 delegates representing more than 5.6 million members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Before the start of the first working session, the leaders of the Party, State, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and delegates attending the 14th National Congress of the Party will lay wreaths and pay respects at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh; and lay wreaths and offer incense at the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs, commemorating the outstanding sons and daughters of the nation who bravely sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
The Congress will discuss and approve important documents including: the Political Report of the 13th Central Committee at the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam; the Report summarizing some theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented Renovation process in Vietnam over the past 40 years; the Report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011-2025) and proposing directions for supplementing and amending the Party Charter; and the Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The delegation of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee attending the Congress consists of 40 official delegates, including 2 members of the Central Committee of the Party assigned to participate in the delegation. Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai, member of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, serves as the Head of the Delegation; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, serves as the Deputy Head of the Delegation.
With a high sense of responsibility, determination, and unity among the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in the province, the delegation representing the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee attending the Congress made active, proactive, serious, and thorough preparations to contribute practically to the overall success of the Congress.
