(BNP) – On the afternoon of October 30, at Bac Ninh General Hospital No. 1, the Bac Ninh Department of Health, Vingroup Corporation and related units jointly announced the Decision to establish the 115 Emergency and Transport Center and handed over ambulances and medical equipment sponsored by Vingroup Corporation.

Attending the ceremony were Professor, Doctor Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi; representatives from Vingroup Corporation, Thien Tam Fund and leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and units.

At the ceremony, the Department of Health announced Decision No. 373/QD-UBND dated October 24, 2025 of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province on reorganizing the Outpatient Emergency Center and Emergency Department into the Emergency and Transport Center 115 under Bac Ninh General Hospital No. 1.
The 115 Emergency and Transport Center (referred to as the Center) has the function of comprehensively performing medical examination, emergency treatment and patient transportation; organizing and performing 24/7 emergency tasks; receiving and classifying patients, examining emergency functions, emergency intervention, monitoring and providing emergency care to seriously ill patients, isolating and treating stroke patients according to regulations; performing out-of-hospital emergency tasks, transporting patients between levels or to their families to meet the needs of society and people by specialized ambulances...

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the initiative of Bac Ninh province in modernizing the health system, especially the field of out-of-hospital emergency care - an important part of people's health care. The establishment of the Center is an important milestone, demonstrating the province's determination in implementing the Project on developing the medical emergency system for the period 2025 - 2030, towards a smart, humane and modern emergency model.

Ambulance sponsored by Vingroup Corporation serves transportation and emergency care for Bac Ninh province.
At the ceremony, representatives of Vingroup Corporation and Thien Tam Fund handed over 15 ambulances and many modern medical equipment to serve the transportation and emergency care outside the hospital for Bac Ninh province. Each vehicle is equipped with a ventilator, an electric shock machine with integrated monitor, a portable ultrasound FAST exam, a 12-lead remote-connected ECG, an intubation kit with camera, a trauma splint and full resuscitation tools.
