(BNP) - In the first six months of 2026, the Farmers' Association at all levels in the province, in coordination with relevant agencies, intensified training and knowledge dissemination on digital technology and digital skills to improve the level, capacity, production and business skills, information technology usage skills, legal understanding, and international integration for officials, members, and farmers.

The work of disseminating information and raising awareness among officials and farmers about digital transformation continues to be given attention and implemented. The various levels of the Association organized the dissemination and implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo, in conjunction with the "Digital Literacy Movement," to raise awareness among cadres, members, and farmers about the role of digital transformation in agricultural and rural development and the building of the new generation of farmers.
In coordination with relevant agencies, 58 conferences were organized to implement the "Digital Literacy Movement," aiming to disseminate basic knowledge about digital technology, digital skills, smart device usage skills, and essential services in the digital environment to over 5,200 members, farmers, and cooperative members. Simultaneously, they encouraged and guided members and farmers to use online public services and cashless payments in production, business, and daily life; to uphold ethical standards and comply with legal regulations in the use of social media and the digital environment.
The Farmers' Associations of communes and wards have coordinated the organization of 47 training courses, guiding members and farmers in applying digital technology in production, promotion, and consumption of agricultural products for over 6,100 participants. They have strengthened support for farmers in accessing digital platforms, e-commerce marketplaces, and skills in using information technology for production and business; and advised and guided officials and farmer members to register for the provincial-level OCOP program.
At the same time, they have maintained the operation of "Excellent Farmers in Production and Business" Clubs and "Farmers' Science and Technology Clubs," thereby gathering and creating an environment and forum for members to interact, learn, exchange experiences, and cooperate in development, promoting the application of scientific and technological advancements and digital transformation, contributing to improving production and business efficiency and increasing income.
