(BNP) - On the morning of September 9, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center, Bac Ninh Province Industrial Production Association (BACLINK) held its 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2028. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan attended and presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

Before the official Congress session, the Bac Ninh Industrial Production Association organized a workshop with the theme “Sustainable Management - Strategic Direction for Enterprises in the New Era”. During the workshop, speakers, enterprises, and managers shared international and domestic policy movements, opportunities and challenges.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan, in particular, informed delegates about the province's future development strategy, which includes the implementation of the Resolution on the Four Pillars and the goal of becoming a centrally-run city, a center for high-tech manufacturing, semiconductor technology, and innovation. According to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the merger will give Bac Ninh province additional room and chances for rapid development. Currently, the province is concentrating on 11 major responsibilities to make a difference, reinforcing its position with the Central Government and localities across the country.

Congratulating the event, the Chairman requested the Association to always accompany the Party Committee and the government of Bac Ninh province, arouse the desire for innovation and development of the homeland and the country; soon perfect the organization, improve the quality of activities, and focus on gathering businesses into members; strengthen the dissemination of new policies and laws of the Central and the province related to businesses, promptly reflect and help the province remove difficulties and obstacles so that businesses can produce and do business more effectively; focus activities on the contents that businesses need such as building brands, applying high technology, expanding joint ventures and associations, etc.

The Congress approved the Working Regulations, elected the Presidium and the Congress Secretariat; reported on the direction of activities for the first term (2025 - 2028). Regarding the key activities for the 2025 - 2028 term, the Association aims to both build an organizational foundation and affirm its leading role in the business community in the context of integration; promote connection and member development, expand the network to more than 1,000 enterprises in Bac Ninh and the Northern economic region; promote sustainable development, support at least 300 enterprises in digital transformation and green transformation; focus on training the next generation of human resources, training to improve management and technology capacity for 50 - 100 young leaders each year and so on.

The Congress held consultations to elect the Executive Committee of the Bac Ninh Industrial Production Association for the 2025-2028 period, which consists of 28 members. Ms. Tran Thi Thu Trang, General Director of Hanet PT New Generation Technology Company, is the Association's President. The Association and the Department of Science and Technology at Ly Thai To College signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
