(BNP) - On the morning of February 10, a delegation of l from the Party, State, Military Region 1, and Bac Ninh province led by Mr. To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, offered incense at the Memorial Area of ​​General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu (Phu Khe ward, Bac Ninh province) to commemorate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - 2026) and preparation for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

Attending the incense offering ceremony from the Central Government were General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau, Minister of Public Security; Le Minh Tri, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee, along with other members of the Central Committee of the Party, leaders of ministries, branches, and Military Region I.

Bac Ninh provincial leaders including Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Pham Hoang Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Tran Huy Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Inspection Committee.

General Secretary To Lam and other delegates respectfully laid flowers and offered incense in commemoration of General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu - a steadfast leader and outstanding theorist of the Vietnamese revolution. General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu was born in 1912 in Phu Khe village, Nghia Lap commune, Dong Ngan district, Tu Son prefecture (now Phu Khe ward, Bac Ninh province).

Nguyen Van Cu, a prominent revolutionary leader and an outstanding student of President Ho Chi Minh, served as Party General Secretary from 1938 and played a key role in shaping the Party’s strategic direction during a critical period of the revolutionary movement.

After the incense offering ceremony, the delegation visited the ancestral home and the exhibition area displaying documents and artifacts related to the life and career of General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu in Phu Khe ward.
