(BNP) - On the morning of November 27, at the Bac Ninh Provincial Conference Center, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front organized a training conference for Front officials of the northern provinces and cities on applying digital transformation in new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction by 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Head of the Social Work Department, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Cao Xuan Thao emphasized that this was the first conference of the cadres working on the movement since the arrangement of administrative units, the operation of the two-level local government model; restructuring the organization of the Front and mass organizations, most of the cadres of the Front are new faces, so the conference will promise to open up many new interactions, mutual understanding, between the locality and the Central, between the localities. He suggested that the organization of the conference must be substantive, avoiding formality. With the motto "Practical effectiveness", the program needs to be as concise as possible; the content of the topics must focus on practical tasks.

At the conference, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Ha briefly informed about the socio-economic situation of the new Bac Ninh province after the merger. She hoped that in the coming time, Bac Ninh province would continue to receive the attention, direction and facilitation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the companionship and sharing of provinces and cities across the country, especially the northern provinces, so that Bac Ninh could continue to better promote its potential and strengths, contributing to the overall development of the country.

The training conference took place over 3 days (from November 26 to 28, 2025). At the conference, delegates listened to speakers who were experts in the fields of new rural construction, poverty reduction and digital transformation.
In addition, delegates also directly exchanged and discussed contents related to the activities of the Front in implementing the tasks of building new rural areas, sustainable poverty reduction and implementing digital transformation in this field. At the same time, they visited the actual model of new rural areas, sustainable poverty reduction with digital transformation application in the locality...
The conference aims to convey new guidelines and policies on the field of new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction; raise awareness and skills for Front officials in implementing digital transformation in general and in building new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction in particular. This is also an opportunity and forum for Front officials to share, exchange, interact and learn from good models and creative ways of doing things of localities; strengthen the spirit of solidarity, together completing the task of building new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction in the new situation./.
