(BNP) - On January 11th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the Badminton and Pickleball Tournament with the theme "Celebrating the Party, Celebrating the Spring" 2026.

More than 400 athletes from 64 departments, agencies, organizations, and communes across the province competed in two sports: badminton and pickleball, which were played in a round-robin style with a variety of events. In badminton, the doubles competition for leaders included men's and mixed doubles, as well as group divisions.
Mr. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Vu Tri Hai, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, participate in the men's doubles pickleball category.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the trophy and medals to the pair of athletes who won first place; medals were awarded to the athletes who won second and third place, and no more than four consolation prizes were given for each competition category.
The Organizing Committee presents trophies and medals to the winning athletes in the men's doubles provincial leader category of the Pickleball catergory.
The Badminton and Pickleball Tournament is a sporting event celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year of 2026. It also carries political and social significance, demonstrating the deep concern and positive response of cadres, leaders, and managers at all levels to the physical education and sports movement, following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh. Through this, it contributes to strengthening exchanges, solidarity, and cohesion among agencies, units, and localities; and simultaneously builds a team of cadres who are "Healthy to lead, Healthy to contribute, Healthy to serve the people."
