(BNP) - On the afternoon of February 4th, Standing ice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, exemplary meritorious individuals, and elderly people in Ninh Xa ward and Tri Qua ward. The delegation also visited and extended New Year greetings to the Thuan Thanh War Invalids Nursing Center.

In Ninh Xa ward, Standing Vice Chairman Mai Son and the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Cuoc (born in 1930), currently residing in Hoang Xa village. She has two sons, martyrs Do Van Hat and Do Duc Vui.

Next, the Standing Vice Chairman visited and presented gifts to Mr. Le Ba Teo (born in 1936), a model elderly person in Bui Xa residential area. He is a Party member, always setting a good example in life and actively participating with his family in local movements and policies.
In Tri Qua ward, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Vu Van Kim (born in 1946), a distinguished contributor residing in But Thap residential area. He was a revolutionary soldier who was captured and imprisoned for many years.

During his visits to the families, the Standing Vice Chairman inquired about their health and living conditions as well as expressed his deep gratitude for the immense sacrifices and contributions of the Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, wounded soldiers, and those who rendered meritorious services to the cause of national independence and freedom. He wished them continued good health, happiness, and long lives with their children and grandchildren.

The Standing Vice Chairman expressed deep emotion at the sacrifices, losses, and prolonged suffering that the wounded and sick soldiers are enduring.
On the other hand, the Standing Vice Chairman acknowledged and praised the dedication and high sense of responsibility of the staff, doctors, and nurses at the Center. At the same time, he hoped that the Center's staff would continue to uphold its traditions, building it into a truly "warm common home," providing even better care for the material and spiritual well-being of war invalids and sick soldiers.
