(BNP) - On the morning of June 6th, Vu Ninh Ward held a launching ceremony to respond to the emulation movement "All citizens join hands to protect the environment, for a green, clean, and beautiful Vietnam" in celebration of World Environment Day and the 2026 Environmental Action Month. In recent times, environmental protection work in the ward has achieved many positive results with activities such as environmental sanitation, urban beautification, tree planting, and the construction of bright, green, clean, and beautiful roads and residential areas. After the establishment of the new ward, the locality continues to implement many practical models, most notably the "Village - Military - People" model with activities to jointly protect the environment.

At the launching ceremony, the Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Vu Ninh Ward, Tran Thi Tuyet Mai, called on officials, soldiers, union members, association members, and the people to actively participate in environmental protection; maintain hygiene in residential areas, sort waste at source, reduce plastic waste, and build a green, clean, and beautiful living environment.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Vice Chairman and other delegates participated in planting trees. At the same time, officials, armed forces, students, and the people simultaneously carried out a general environmental cleanup, collected waste, and cleared waterways in residential areas and public areas in the ward.
