Accordingly, the provincial departments, agencies, branches, sectors and organizations as well as the People’s Committees of districts, towns and cities organize propagation to raise awareness and responsibility of authorities at all levels, organizations, residential community and people for forest development and tree planting. Therefore, the role of tree planting can be seen clearly in socio-economic development; ecological environmental protection and the limitation of climate change’s negative effects. The active participation in planting trees, planting forests, and promoting the tree planting tradition initiated by Uncle Ho is a practical action in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style.

The functional agencies actively develop plans and prepare sites for scattered tree planting in 2024 in association with local annual socio-economic development targets. The festival’s organization and launch must be practical, effective, unobtrusive and formal, thereby, creating conditions for agencies, organizations, unions, schools, armed forces and people from all social strata to actively take part in it. The time to launch the festival in the province is from February 15, 2024, to February 19, 2024.

In addition, the competent authorities continue to deploy the Plan for the implementation of the Project to plant 1 billion trees in the 2021-2025 period in Bac Ninh province. In 2024, the province strives to plant 301,590 trees of all kinds. Among which, species that are suitable to the purpose, landscape, ecological conditions, and farming practices of each specific locality and area will be selected. The native, woody, multi-purpose trees are planted and tree species with environmental protection value, high protective effect, precious and rare seeds bearing local cultural identity are prioritized.
