07 Bac Ninh boxers participate in national team to prepare for 31st SEA Games
(BNP) - The General Department of Physical Training and Sports (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) has just decided to convene 08 coaches and 27 athletes from the boxing teams nationwide to the national team for training and preparation of 31st SEA Games and 19th ASIAD.
Athlete Nguyen Van Duong (red shirt) is one of Bac Ninh's athletes participating in the national team.
Among which, the Bac Ninh boxing team has 7 athletes (5 men, 2 women) including Nguyen Van Duong, Nguyen Ha Minh, Nguyen Manh Cuong, Nguyen Duy Anh, Dam Ngoc Duc, Vuong Thi Vy, Nguyen Thi Hoi. These are all boxers who have just won the Gold Medal at the National Men's and Women's Boxing Championships in 2021.
31st SEA Games is expected to take place in May 2022 in Vietnam with 40 sports and 526 contents. Among which, Boxing competes in 8 men's events (weight classes: 49kg, 52kg, 57kg, 64kg, 69kg, 75kg, 81kg, 91kg) and 5 women's events (weight classes: 51kg, 57kg, 60kg, 69kg, 75kg). Boxing competitions will take place at the Bac Ninh Provincial Multi-Purpose Gymnasium.
