Bac Ninh deploys activities to respond to 2023 Vietnam Consumer Rights’ Day
(BNP) - The Provincial People's Committee signed and promulgated Plan No. 533/KH-UBND to organize activities to respond to 2023 Vietnam Consumer Rights’ Day in the province.

On July 10, 2015, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1035/QD-TTg recognizing March 15 as Vietnam’s “Consumer” Rights Day.
With the theme “Transparent information – Safe consumption”, the Provincial People’s Committee calls for and encourages the participation of social organizations, businesses and consumers in related activities; step by step make Vietnam Consumer Rights Day an important driving force and highlight in socio-economic life, supporting business activities of genuine production and business enterprises, and at the same time ensuring basic rights of consumers, especially the right to receive accurate and transparent information related to products, goods and services so that consumers can make safe and appropriate choices.
Especially during peak shopping days, seasons and seasons, along with focusing on activities to promote business, businesses need to develop effective tools to ensure the interests of consumers; build and maintain good relationships with consumers; proactively turn the responsibility of responding quickly and fully to the requirements and aspirations of consumers into a driving force for development and competitive advantages of enterprises in the market.
In addition, functional agencies strengthen supervision and market inspection activities, step up propaganda, dissemination, receipt and settlement of consumer complaints and requests, and resolutely handle consumer complaints. strictly handle acts that infringe on the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.
Activities towards Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2023 should be held regularly and continuously, creating a foundation for activities in the peak month (March) in response to Vietnam Consumer Rights Day.
