Bac Ninh has nearly 50 housing projects for worker and low-income
(BNP) - According to the Department of Construction, the province has 21 housing projects for workers, with an area of about 105.5 hectares, meeting accommodation for nearly 126,000 workers.

Among which, 07 projects were put into use, meeting accommodation for more than 46,000 workers; 5 projects are implementing investment; 9 projects are completing construction investment procedures.
For low-income housing, the province has 26 projects with 12,000 apartments with a total area of 42ha, accommodating about 48,000 people. Among which, 13 projects were put into use with nearly 7,800 apartments, accommodating for more than 34,000 people; 7 projects are constructing; 6 projects are completing construction investment procedures.
Currently, Bac Ninh province has 16 concentrated industrial zones approved by the Prime Minister with a total area of more than 6,397 hectares, among which 10 industrial zones have been put into operation, attracting more than 300,000 workers with about 75% of worker outside the province.
To meet housing demand in the coming time, the province will focus on building houses for low-income people and workers in industrial zones. By 2030, it is expected that there will be an additional 2.2 million m2 of social housing, among which housing for workers is more than 1 million m2, housing for students is more than 89,000 m2, housing for other social objects is more than 1,1 million m2... thereby contributing to stabilizing the worker's life, developing socio-economic in a sustainable direction.
