Bac Ninh province and Moscow city exchange experiences on smart city

(BNP) – Bac Ninh Provincial Delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly on August 9th had a working session with representative of Moscow city government to discuss prospects for cooperation between the two localities in the Capital of Moscow (Russian Federation).

At the meeting, representative of Moscow city government, Mr. Ilya Kuzmin, Director of Department for External Economic and International Relations warmly welcomed the Bac Ninh delegation to visit and work in Russian Federation. At the same time, he shared experiences in the work of planning, urban management, the application of technology in monitoring traffic; human resources training, construction of operating centers, CCTV systems and artificial intelligence…

Mr. IIlya Kuzmin said that the Moscow city government is willing to cooperate, advise and share experiences with Bac Ninh province in each specific issue, thereby tightening traditional relation and friendship between the Russian Federation and Vietnam in general and between the two localities in particular.

Thanks to the Moscow city government for sharing useful and practical issues, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien briefed on the geographical location, strong potential of Bac Ninh province. With many targets among top 10 in the country such as industrial production value, GDP per capita, export turnover, the scale of economy, budget revenue and ..., Bac Ninh province is currently building smart city, e-government and looking for solutions related to big data, Internet-connected devices, IOT (Internet of Things)...

He stressed that Moscow is one of the top cities in the world in these areas, these issues raised in the meeting would be a valuable experience in management and administration for Bac Ninh province to develop a smart city.

The Secretary hoped that the relationship between the two countries in general, Bac Ninh province and Moscow city in particular would be further tightened. In the coming time, the two sides will strengthen cooperation and introduce businesses to learn about investment environment and cooperation opportunities. He also affirmed that Bac Ninh province will create the most favorable conditions for Russian businesses in investing in the province.
