Bac Ninh urges implementation progress of Ring Road 4 project - Hanoi Capital Region

(BNP) - On January 4, in Hung Yen province, the Standing Steering Committee of Ring Road 4 Investment Project - Hanoi Capital Region held a conference to urge the project implementation. The Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, and Head of the Steering Committee Dinh Tien Dung presided the conference.

For Bac Ninh province, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and Deputy Head of the Steering Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong also attended the conference.

The investment project to build Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region has a total investment of VND 85,813 billion. It was deployed into 7 component projects, of which Bac Ninh province has 2 component projects 1.3 and 2.3 passing through.

In recent times, the localities have strived to closely follow the progress assigned by the Government. Currently, 93.92% of the entire project has been handed over (Hanoi city reached 96.54%, Hung Yen province reached 85%, and Bac Ninh province reached 93.87%).

Speaking at the conference, Chairwoman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang affirmed that the province is very determined and drastic in directing and urging the project implementation and achieving the positive results. For project component 1.3, 93.87% of the land area was recovered, 1,731 graves were moved, reaching 61.87%.

Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan requested that the investor who is the local traffic project management board must preside and coordinate to guide the contractors to access materials to serve construction.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung proposed that the localities immediately strive to complete the grave relocation before December 23 (the lunar calendar) and complete the relocation of submerged and floating infrastructure works before June 30, 2024. For the relocation of residential land, if the resettlement areas cannot be completed in time, a temporary settlement plan can be applied.

In terms of the remaining difficulties and problems, the Steering Committee will submit them to the Government and the National Assembly to quickly respond and resolve these problems for the project.

Previously, the delegation of the Steering Committee inspected the construction site of the investment project to build Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region in Bac Ninh and Hung Yen provinces.
